This gold resin candle holder brings the Slytherin snake of Harry Potter to life in three dimensions, coiled around a slim column that rises to a single candle cup. The serpent winds up from a bell-shaped base, its body covered in fine raised scales, and lifts its head clear of the column with its eyes picked out, as though keeping watch over the flame. Above it, a beaded collar and a scalloped band lead into a fluted cup. On the front of the base, a scroll banner carries the word Slytherin, with a curled S on either side. The whole piece stands 20cm tall and 8.5cm wide and deep, finished in warm gold all over.
