Description

This Harry Potter photo frame surrounds your picture with the four house crests, each on its own banner reading GRYFFINDOR, SLYTHERIN, RAVENCLAW or HUFFLEPUFF. The border is split into soft multicoloured blocks of pastel pink, sage green, pale yellow and light grey. It is scattered with little drawn details: round glasses, a scarf, a wand, an open book, a bubbling cauldron, a trophy, a stack of books and a castle on a hill. At the top sits a raised white owl carrying a letter, standing proud of the printed border. It takes a 6 x 4in photograph in landscape, and the whole frame measures 21cm wide, 16cm high and 2cm deep.

Being freestanding, it needs no wall and no fixings. A black strut at the back lets it sit on a shelf, a desk, a bedside table or a sideboard. There is also a small hanger at the top of the backing board if you would rather put it on a wall. The pastel blocks are soft enough to sit happily in a bedroom, a study or a living room, and the crests and little drawings give everyone something to spot. A favourite family photograph, a holiday snap or a picture from a day out all suit it, and you can change the picture whenever you like.

The front has a matt printed finish, so the colours look soft rather than glossy, with the owl raised above it. The back is plain white, with a black backing board held in place by small turn clips that swing aside to slip your photograph in and swing back to hold it flat.
