Harry Potter Hermione and Crookshanks Resin Figurine - Red

This little resin figurine captures Hermione tucked into a deep red armchair with her nose in a book, while Crookshanks, her ginger cat, perches on the arm of the chair just behind her shoulder. She wears a dark school uniform with a pleated skirt, grey knee socks and brown shoes, and her long brown hair falls loose around a round, wide-eyed face with a small surprised mouth, as if she has just reached the best part of the chapter. The armchair and the round base beneath it are a rich red, and the open book in her hands is red to match. The whole piece stands 5.9cm tall, 5.1cm wide and 5.1cm deep, a small figure that fits in the palm of your hand.

Its size makes it easy to place. It sits happily on a bookshelf between paperbacks, on a desk beside a lamp, on a bedside table or on a windowsill in a reading nook, and it makes a natural companion for a shelf of well-loved books. As a gift, we think it suits Christmas, tucked into a stocking or set beside a wrapped book, and it makes a cheerful Back to School present for the start of a new term.

The figurine is made from polyresin and finished in paint, from the folds of Hermione's skirt to the bushy tail Crookshanks curls up behind him. Its round base gives it a flat, steady footing, so it stands on its own on any level surface with no fixing, and the back of the chair is smooth and plain. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth, and wipe it gently with a barely damp cloth if it needs more. For a cosy gift, wrap it with a new paperback, or stand it at the end of a bookshelf where the red armchair catches the eye.
