Description

The Harbor is a 550mm flush-mount crystal ceiling light with ten E14 bulb positions arranged behind rows of cut crystal pearls, mounted on a polished chrome frame. The crystal pearls are set in concentric rings around a central sandblasted glass diffuser, which softens the light output and prevents direct bulb glare when viewed from below.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the flush-mount design sits within 150mm of the ceiling surface, making it suitable for rooms where a pendant would hang too low. The chrome frame and crystal combination works in both contemporary and transitional interiors, particularly those with cool-toned palettes of greys, whites and silvers.

The cut crystal pearls refract light across multiple angles, creating a scattered sparkle effect across walls and ceilings when the fitting is switched on. The sandblasted glass diffuser at the base provides ambient downlight for general room illumination, while the crystal surround provides decorative accent lighting. The 550mm diameter gives enough presence to anchor a 4m x 4m room without overwhelming smaller 3m x 3m spaces.

The fitting accepts standard E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) and is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 dimmable LED bulbs and a dimmer switch. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor rooms only.

What bulbs does the Harbor take?

The fitting takes ten E14 small Edison screw bulbs (also called candle bulbs or SES bulbs). Bulbs are sold separately. For full brightness, use 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K). For a softer decorative effect, 2-3W bulbs work well.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and wired to a compatible LED dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.

What room size does it suit?

The 550mm diameter works best in rooms between 3m x 3m and 5m x 5m. In smaller rooms it provides enough light for general use; in larger open-plan spaces it works as accent lighting over a specific zone (dining table, seating area) rather than as the sole light source.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture and must only be used in dry indoor rooms. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher.
