Description

The Hampton is a 381mm-wide wall light built around a rectangular antique nickel backplate supporting a single horizontal ivory linen drum shade housing two E14 bulb fittings. An etched acrylic lens across the bottom of the shade diffuses the light downwards and softens glare, whilst the linen fabric sides cast a warm glow across the wall above and below the fitting.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedroom walls where ambient lighting is needed without a pendant drop, the Hampton sits 305mm tall and projects 140mm from the wall. The twin E14 fittings (candle bulbs, sold separately) sit side-by-side inside the shade, giving enough output for general room lighting when fitted at 1.8-2.2m height. The fitting works equally as a solo light source in a narrow hallway or as one of a pair flanking a fireplace, mirror or headboard.

The antique nickel finish on the metal frame shows a brushed surface with a subtle aged patina that reads warmer than polished chrome or brushed steel. The off-white linen shade fabric is tightly woven with a fine ribbed texture visible up close, giving the fitting a tailored appearance that suits both contemporary and transitional interiors. The etched acrylic lens at the base prevents direct sightlines to the bulbs when standing beneath the fitting, making the Hampton suitable for installation at eye-level heights without causing discomfort.
