Description

The Halmstad is a 490mm-high bollard light built around a square black powder-coated steel post with horizontal slat detailing and an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The E27 socket sits inside the slatted section, casting light outward through the gaps between the slats and through the diffuser, creating both directed pathway illumination and ambient glow. The fitting accepts any standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for driveways, pathways, garden borders and patio edges, the Halmstad provides visibility and wayfinding without the glare of unshielded bulbs. The 490mm height positions the light source at shin-to-knee level, illuminating the ground plane without spilling upward into windows or skyward as light pollution. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making the fitting suitable for year-round outdoor use including coastal areas where salt spray is present.

The square post measures 120mm × 120mm at the base, giving the bollard a stable footprint without requiring excessive ground anchoring. The black powder-coated finish is applied over steel, providing corrosion resistance and a matt surface that does not reflect headlights or security lights. The horizontal slats give the fitting a contemporary layered appearance that pairs well with modern paving, rendered walls and darker cladding materials. The opal diffuser softens the light output and hides the bulb shape when the fitting is viewed from the side.
