Description

This matt black LED lantern carries a bold skull silhouette that glows gold once it is lit, giving a shelf or mantelpiece a properly spooky face for Halloween. The skull faces forward, with hollow eye sockets, a dark nose and a row of jagged teeth. When lit it takes on a soft, slightly glittering gold glow against the dark body. The lantern is round, standing 15.2cm tall, 8cm wide and 8.1cm deep. Its back is plain matt black, so it looks neat from every angle.

We think it looks its best where it can glow against a darker corner: on a mantelpiece, a bookshelf, a hallway console or a sideboard near the front door, ready to greet trick-or-treaters as they arrive. Because it runs on batteries, there is no cable to hide and no need to stand it near a socket, so it can sit wherever the scene suits. Its slim, round body takes up very little room, which makes it easy to group with pumpkins, candles and other Halloween pieces on a busy shelf. It is for dry rooms indoors.
