Halleron 3 Light Outdoor Wall Lantern - Burnished Bronze

The Halleron is a 578mm wall-mounted outdoor lantern with a globe-shaped seeded glass enclosure held within a burnished bronze metal frame. Three E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the globe, each rated up to 40W, casting light through the textured glass and the slatted metal band that wraps the centre of the fitting. The burnished bronze finish carries a darkened, aged patina that shifts between warm brown and cooler graphite depending on the angle of light.

Designed for porches, covered entrances and sheltered garden walls, the Halleron carries an IP44 rating — protected against water splashing from any direction but not suitable for full exposure to driving rain or direct overhead weather. The 375mm projection from the wall and the ornate scroll bracket give the fitting a substantial presence on brick or rendered exteriors. The glass dome and slatted metal detail reference Victorian railway station lanterns and early 20th-century street lighting.

The seeded glass contains small air bubbles frozen into the material during manufacture, which scatter the light from the three bulbs and reduce glare when viewed from below. The 305mm diameter globe provides enough volume to house the three-bulb cluster without crowding, and the slatted metal band around the equator adds visual weight while allowing light to escape horizontally as well as downward. The burnished finish pairs comfortably with red brick, sandstone, rendered white walls and dark-painted timber.

What IP rating does it carry and where can it be used?

The Halleron is rated IP44, which means it is protected against water splashing from any direction. It is suitable for covered porches, entrance canopies and sheltered garden walls. It should not be installed in positions exposed to driving rain, direct overhead weather or full unprotected exposure.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes three E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to match the traditional aesthetic.

How far does it project from the wall?

The Halleron projects 375mm from the wall once mounted. This substantial projection means the fitting needs adequate clearance from door swings, walkways and furniture positioned near the wall.

How is the seeded glass cleaned?

The glass globe is removable for cleaning and bulb changes. Wipe the interior and exterior with a soft damp cloth and mild soapy water, then rinse and dry. The textured seeded surface hides fingerprints and minor marks better than smooth clear glass.
