The Hadley is a 356mm flush ceiling light with a stepped oil rubbed bronze frame surrounding an etched opal glass diffuser. Three E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the glass, which spreads light evenly across the ceiling plane without creating glare or hotspots. The 140mm fitting height gives the light a low-profile presence that suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.6m where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and entryways, the Hadley carries an IP44 rating, meaning it can be installed in bathroom zones 2 and 3 where occasional splashing occurs. The stepped bronze frame creates a layered visual detail that adds depth to what would otherwise be a flat ceiling surface, while the etched glass softens the light output and hides the bulb shapes when viewed from below.

The oil rubbed bronze finish has a dark, matte surface with subtle tonal variation across the metal, giving the fixture a hand-rubbed appearance that pairs with both traditional wood-toned interiors and darker contemporary schemes. The glass is a single one-piece moulded diffuser held between the stepped bronze rings, so there are no visible fixings or seams when looking up at the installed light. Each of the three E27 sockets accepts bulbs up to 40W, giving control over total light output and colour temperature depending on which bulbs are chosen.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The Hadley carries an IP44 rating, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 where occasional splashing occurs. It should not be installed in zone 0 (inside the shower enclosure) or zone 1 (directly above the bath or shower).

What bulbs does it take?

The Hadley takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for general ambient lighting in bedrooms and hallways.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Is the glass replaceable if damaged?
