The Habana is a square table lampshade with a 240mm x 240mm footprint and 165mm height, built around a rigid metal frame wrapped in black woven fabric. The fabric has a fine basket weave texture that diffuses light through the material rather than blocking it entirely, creating a warm glow around the shade while directing focused light downwards and upwards through the open top and bottom.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side-of-sofa positions, the Habana suits E27 or B22 table lamp bases where the shade clips or screws onto a standard lamp holder. The square profile gives the shade a more architectural presence than a traditional drum shade, pairing well with geometric lamp bases in brass, chrome, ceramic or timber. At 165mm tall the shade works on bases between 250-400mm where the proportions stay balanced.

The black fabric finish absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, making the shade itself recede visually when the lamp is off, while the woven texture becomes visible when the lamp is lit and shows the light passing through the fibres.
