Description

This Knightsbridge GU10 track spotlight mounts to standard track lighting systems via a plastic track connector and provides directional light through a single GU10 bulb fitting. The aluminium spotlight head rotates 350° on its base and tilts 80° from vertical, allowing light to be aimed at artwork, feature walls, retail displays or task surfaces without moving the track itself.

Designed for residential accent lighting, retail environments and gallery installations, the spotlight suits rooms where flexible directional light is needed without fixed ceiling downlights. The track system allows multiple spotlights to be positioned anywhere along the track run, with each spotlight independently adjustable once installed. The white powder-coated aluminium finish pairs with contemporary and minimalist interiors where visible track lighting is part of the design intent rather than concealed.

The 56mm diameter spotlight head projects 160mm from the track when angled, giving clearance to direct light past adjacent fixtures or architectural features. The GU10 fitting accepts standard mains-voltage LED or halogen bulbs up to 50W (sold separately), with dimming capability dependent on the bulb specification rather than the fitting itself. The IP20 rating limits this spotlight to dry indoor locations only.

What track system is this compatible with?

The spotlight uses a standard plastic track connector compatible with most single-circuit track lighting systems. Knightsbridge track components are designed to work together, but the connector fits other manufacturers' tracks using the same standard profile.

Is the spotlight dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb fitted rather than the spotlight itself. Pair this with a dimmable LED GU10 bulb and a compatible LED dimmer switch to achieve full dimming control. Non-dimmable bulbs will operate at full brightness only.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means this spotlight is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be used in dry indoor locations. For bathroom track lighting, look for spotlights rated IP44 or higher.

What bulb should I use?

Any standard GU10 bulb up to 50W maximum rating. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in 2700K-3000K for warm accent lighting or 4000K for task lighting in retail and commercial settings. Bulbs are sold separately.
