Description

The Knightsbridge GDL2 is a 650mm garden bollard light built from 304 stainless steel with an anthracite powder-coated finish. A GU10 fitting sits inside a cylindrical polycarbonate diffuser at the top of the post, casting light downward and outward through the opal lens to create a cone of ambient illumination around the bollard.

Designed for pathways, driveways, garden borders and patio perimeters, the 650mm height places the light source low enough to avoid glare at eye level while still providing sufficient spread to mark edges and transitions. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, making the bollard suitable for year-round outdoor installation in UK weather. The bollard requires mains 230V wiring, typically run underground from a weatherproof outdoor junction box or switched spur.

The 304 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in coastal and damp environments, with the anthracite powder coating adding a layer of UV and abrasion resistance. The 102mm diameter keeps the bollard visible without dominating planting beds or lawn edges. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 35W, including LED options as low as 3-5W for energy-efficient pathway lighting (bulb sold separately).
