Description

The Knightsbridge cylinder track spotlight is a directional GU10 fitting in black aluminium with a plastic track connector for standard UK track systems. The cylinder housing measures 50mm long by 34mm diameter and projects 131mm from the track when fitted, with the GU10 lamp holder recessed inside the cylinder body.

Designed for retail accent lighting, gallery walls, kitchen worktop task lighting and residential track installations, the spotlight provides 350° rotation on the track axis and 80° tilt on the lamp head, allowing light to be directed at artwork, products, architectural features or work surfaces without re-positioning the track itself. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 retrofit LED or halogen lamp up to 50W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature, beam angle and brightness based on application.

The black aluminium body suits industrial, modern and monochrome interiors where visible track fittings are part of the design intent rather than hidden. The IP20 rating makes this an indoor-only fitting. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific GU10 lamp fitted — LED GU10s marked as dimmable will dim with compatible trailing-edge dimmers, while non-dimmable LEDs will not respond to dimming controls.

What track system does this fit?

The plastic track connector fits standard UK single-circuit track systems. Most residential and commercial track lighting in the UK uses the same connector standard, but verify compatibility with your existing track before ordering if you are adding to an older installation.

Does it come with a bulb?

No. The spotlight accepts any GU10 retrofit LED or halogen lamp up to 50W. Most users pair this with a 5-7W GU10 LED in 3000K-4000K for accent or task lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 lamp you fit. GU10 LEDs marked as dimmable will dim with compatible trailing-edge dimmers. Non-dimmable GU10 LEDs will not respond to dimmer controls and may flicker if dimmed.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means this is an indoor-only fitting suitable for dry locations. It cannot be used in bathroom zones where moisture or direct water contact is present.
