Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch rocker cover is a white ABS replacement cap marked 'FREEZER' in grey sans-serif text. The cover clips onto the rocker mechanism of a standard Knightsbridge grid switch, replacing a blank rocker with one that labels the circuit it controls. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the switch faceplate.

Designed for kitchens, utility rooms and commercial spaces where multiple appliances are controlled from a single grid plate, the marked cover allows users to identify which switch operates which appliance without guessing or trial. The rocker is removed from the existing switch by hand and the new marked cover clicks into place without tools or re-wiring. The switch itself remains in position and continues to function exactly as before.

The white ABS construction matches standard white grid faceplates and provides an IP20 rating suitable for dry indoor locations. The grey text is moulded into the surface rather than printed, so it will not wear off with repeated switching. Knightsbridge offers this rocker cover style with a range of appliance labels including washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and boiler, allowing a full grid plate to be clearly marked for each circuit.

This rocker cover is designed for Knightsbridge grid switches. It clips onto the rocker mechanism of standard Knightsbridge grid modules and may not fit grid systems from other manufacturers. If you are unsure which grid system is installed, contact us with a photo.

Can the text wear off?

The grey 'FREEZER' text is moulded into the ABS surface during manufacture rather than printed on top, so it will not rub off or fade with use.

Is any wiring required to fit this?

No. The existing rocker cap is removed by hand and the new marked cover clicks into place. The switch mechanism and wiring remain untouched, and the switch continues to operate as before.
