Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a white ABS rocker marked 'WINE COOLER' in black print, designed to replace the plain rocker on a standard grid switch. The cover clips onto 20A DP grid switches used for appliance circuits, allowing the outlet to be clearly labelled at the point of use rather than relying on back-of-board labelling or memory.

Used in kitchens, utility rooms and hospitality fit-outs where multiple appliances share a bank of switches, pre-printed covers reduce confusion and make it easier for occupants to isolate specific appliances for maintenance or emergency shutdown. The cover is compatible with Knightsbridge Grid and Grid Pro ranges, and fits standard 20A double-pole grid switches from other manufacturers using the same rocker profile.

The white ABS construction matches standard white grid plates and the IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments. The rocker measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the switch mounting frame. What switches is this compatible with?

The cover fits standard 20A DP grid switches from the Knightsbridge Grid and Grid Pro ranges, and most other manufacturers' grid switches using the same rocker profile. It will not fit traditional plate switches or screwless switches.

How is the rocker replaced?

The existing plain rocker clips off the front of the grid switch module and the new pre-printed rocker clips on in its place. No tools or re-wiring are needed, but the circuit should be isolated before removing or replacing the rocker.

Can the print wear off?

The black print is applied to the ABS surface and can fade or wear over time with repeated finger contact, especially in high-traffic hospitality environments. Wipe gently with a dry cloth rather than abrasive cleaning products to extend the life of the print.
