Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a polished chrome rocker marked 'FREEZER' in raised lettering, designed to replace the plain rocker on a standard grid switch to identify which appliance the switch controls. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and clips onto existing Knightsbridge grid switch mechanisms without tools or re-wiring.

Used in kitchens, utility rooms and commercial food preparation areas where multiple appliances are hard-wired into a bank of grid switches, the marked cover removes ambiguity about which switch operates the freezer. The cover is interchangeable, so if appliance positions change the rocker can be swapped out for a different designation without replacing the entire switch grid. The polished chrome finish matches other polished chrome grid accessories in the Knightsbridge range.

The rocker is moulded from ABS plastic with a steel spring mechanism and finished in polished chrome. The raised 'FREEZER' lettering sits proud of the surface, making it readable under most lighting conditions and tactile enough to identify by touch. The IP20 rating confirms the cover is suitable for dry indoor locations but not for use in zones requiring splash or moisture protection.

This rocker cover is designed for Knightsbridge grid switch mechanisms. It clips onto the standard rocker mounting points used across the Knightsbridge grid range. It will not fit other manufacturers' grid systems without adapter plates.

Can the rocker be removed and swapped later?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the switch mechanism and can be removed by hand and replaced with a different marked cover if appliance positions change. No tools or re-wiring are needed to swap rockers.
