Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a pre-printed matt white rocker marked 'FREEZER' in grey sans-serif lettering, designed to replace the standard blank rocker on a grid switch module. The cover clips onto Knightsbridge 20A DP grid switches, allowing kitchen circuits to be labelled at the switch point for easy appliance identification.

Used in kitchens where multiple appliances are controlled from a dedicated switch bank, the labelled rocker removes guesswork when isolating specific circuits for maintenance or when moving house. The cover fits Knightsbridge's grid switch system, which allows multiple switch modules to be grouped within a single faceplate — common in UK kitchens where washing machines, dishwashers, electric ovens and freezers each require their own switched isolator.

The rocker measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the module faceplate. It's constructed from ABS plastic with a steel internal spring, finished in matt white to match standard white grid faceplates. The cover is removed by gently prising it from the switch module with a flat-blade screwdriver, then the new labelled cover clicks into place without tools.

How is the cover changed?
