Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a pre-printed matt black rocker marked 'FREEZER', designed to clip onto standard grid switches for appliance identification. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and replaces the existing blank rocker on a grid switch module, allowing the switch to be labelled without permanent engraving or adhesive labels.

Common in kitchens, utility rooms and catering environments where multiple appliances share a bank of grid switches, these covers allow quick visual identification of which switch controls which appliance. The rocker clips onto the switch mechanism and can be swapped out if appliance positions change or if the switch is repurposed. The 6.8mm projection sits flush with standard grid faceplates.

Constructed from ABS with a steel internal clip mechanism, the matt black finish matches Knightsbridge's matt black grid ranges and provides contrast against lighter wall finishes. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor locations. The 25-year warranty covers the rocker mechanism and print durability under normal residential use.

This rocker fits Knightsbridge's standard 20A grid switch modules. It clips onto the switch mechanism in place of the blank rocker supplied with the module, so the switch must already be installed in a grid system.

Can the rocker be removed and swapped?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the switch mechanism and can be removed by hand and replaced with a different designation cover or a blank rocker if the switch function changes.
