Description

This wooden framed plaque sets a small off-white house against a soft grey background scattered with tiny hearts. The house carries a short message that says a great deal: "Grateful FOR SO MUCH but especially for you". The words "Grateful" and "you" are written in a flowing script, with the lines between them in neat print, so the message reads clearly at a glance. The house sits slightly proud of the background, giving the piece a gentle sense of depth, while the natural wood frame shows a fine grain that keeps the look warm and simple. It measures 15cm high, 12cm wide and 2.5cm deep, a compact size that suits a small space without crowding it.

Because the message is about a person rather than a place, it is at home in almost any room: a bedroom, a hallway, a living room or a quiet corner of a study. We think it makes a heartfelt gift for someone who has made a difference to you. It is a gentle way to put your gratitude into words that will be kept long after a card has been put away. The little house shape ties the words to home and to the people who make it feel like one, so it settles in naturally beside family photographs and other keepsakes.

The frame is wood with a natural light finish. Its 2.5cm depth gives the plaque room to sit forward from the heart-print background, so the piece has real shape rather than lying flat. To keep it looking its best, dust the frame and the plaque with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp. If you are giving it as a present, wrap it with a handwritten note that picks up the same words, or set it among a few favourite photographs so the message is the first thing they see.
