This cream stoneware mug carries one word in hand-lettered gold across a soft lilac brushstroke: Granddaughter. Beneath it, a string of tiny stars hangs like bunting, and the message reads "You are loved for the laughs, kindness and special moments you bring to our lives". Beside the words sits a little watercolour-style bear on a sprig of branch, with a gold crescent moon, a dotted grey cloud and a scatter of small gold stars and hearts. Along the top of the handle runs one more line: "you are so wonderful." The mug has a rounded, low shape that narrows gently towards the rim, and it stands 8.5cm tall, 13cm wide and 12cm deep.
