This glass photo frame for Gran pairs a favourite photograph with a printed verse that says what so many of us feel about our grandmothers. The clear glass is printed with soft watercolour flowers in shades of pink, with blue sprigs, green leaves and a little bumblebee, while a blush-pink border frames the picture opening. Beside it, Gran is written in a flowing script above the lines: Has ears that truly LISTEN, arms that always hold, a LOVE that's NEVER ENDING and a HEART that's made of GOLD. It holds a 6 x 4in photograph upright beside the verse and measures 21cm wide, 20cm tall and 9cm deep.

As a freestanding frame, it needs no wall or hook: it stands happily on a sideboard, mantelpiece, bedside table or windowsill, wherever Gran will see it each day. It makes a thoughtful Mother's Day gift for a grandmother, and we think it is a lovely way to share a recent photo of the grandchildren, a family gathering or a favourite picture of the two of you together.
