Description

The Grace is an 8-light chandelier built around a central bronze column with eight scrolled arms radiating outward, each terminating in an E14 candle-effect bulb holder dressed with cut crystal droplets and teardrops. The chandelier sits at 720mm diameter and 590mm body height, with an adjustable chain allowing installation between 790mm and 1190mm total drop from ceiling to base.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights above 2.6m, the Grace suits spaces where a centrepiece fitting is needed over a dining table or in a double-height hallway. The eight arms distribute light across a wide horizontal plane rather than concentrating it downward, making the chandelier effective as ambient lighting in rooms up to 20m². Each arm accepts a 60W maximum E14 bulb (sold separately), typically paired with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K.

The bronze finish on the metalwork is a warm mid-tone that sits between antique brass and aged copper, darker than polished brass but lighter than oil-rubbed bronze. The scrollwork on each arm follows a symmetrical S-curve, with decorative castings at the canopy and central column base showing a traditional acanthus-leaf pattern. The crystal droplets and teardrops are facet-cut glass rather than acrylic, catching and reflecting light when the chandelier is illuminated. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces only.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Grace takes eight E14 candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W at 2700K-3000K to replicate the look of traditional candle lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum total drop is 790mm and the maximum is 1190mm, adjusted via the chain length during installation. For a dining table the chandelier typically hangs 750-850mm above the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.6m. Higher ceilings between 2.8-3.2m allow the full chain extension for better visual proportion.

Can the crystal droplets be removed for cleaning?

Yes. The droplets are individually hung on wire loops or pins and can be removed one at a time for cleaning. Wipe gently with a damp microfibre cloth and dry immediately to prevent water spotting. Do not use chemical glass cleaners as they can damage the bronze finish if dripped onto the metalwork.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

At 790mm minimum drop the Grace is not ideal for standard 2.4m UK ceiling heights. It works best in rooms with 2.6m or higher ceilings where the chandelier can be positioned at an appropriate height above furniture without dominating the vertical space.
