Description

The Gosmelle is a square LED downlight with a white steel body and a white plastic diffuser, 16cm long, 16cm wide and 2.8cm high. The LEDs are built into the fitting and draw 11W to give 1,350 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, a gentle, homely tone that suits living spaces as well as working ones. Behind the slim white frame, an opal diffuser fills the square face, so you see a soft glowing panel rather than bare LEDs. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms, away from steam and splashing water.

The square frame sits neatly against the ceiling, so it suits hallways, landings, boot rooms, studies and kitchens, anywhere you want clear general light without a pendant hanging down into the room. At just 2.8cm high it is a sensible pick where headroom is tight, such as a low ceiling or the narrow strip of ceiling in front of a run of wall cupboards.
