Description

The Goldenrod is a 327mm outdoor wall lantern combining a Western Bronze frame with removable gold-painted vertical rods and clear bevelled glass panels. The lantern houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately, up to 60W) behind four bevelled glass faces, each framed by alternating bronze and gold vertical bars that give the fitting a mid-century architectural profile.

Designed for covered porches, front door surrounds, and sheltered garden walls, the Goldenrod carries an IP44 rating for protection against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for UK outdoor conditions under eaves or canopies. The 169mm projection from the wall gives clearance for the bevelled glass panels to throw light outward while the bronze backplate fixes to a standard outdoor junction box.

The gold rods are removable, allowing the fitting to be simplified to a bronze-only finish or repainted to match a specific colour scheme. The bevelled glass cuts multiple facets into each panel, scattering light through the edges and reducing harsh shadows under the bulb. The combined height and width of 327mm x 155mm suits entrances with restricted wall space or where multiple lanterns are being spaced closely along a garden wall.
