Description

The Glintis is a 300mm LED bathroom mirror light with a powder-coated cast aluminium body in brown and an opal polycarbonate diffuser tube. An integrated 9.5W LED runs the length of the fitting, emitting 4000K cool white light through the diffuser for even, shadow-free illumination across the mirror surface.

Designed specifically for bathroom mirrors and vanity areas, the Glintis carries an IP44 rating, protecting the internal LED and wiring from splashes and condensation typical in bathroom environments. The 70mm projection from the wall positions the light close enough to the mirror to minimise shadows under the chin and around the face during grooming tasks such as shaving, makeup application and skincare routines. The cool white 4000K output provides clarity without the warm yellow cast of lower colour temperatures or the clinical harshness of 6000K+ LEDs.

The brown powder-coated aluminium finish offers a warmer alternative to standard chrome or white bathroom fittings, pairing well with natural wood vanities, terracotta tiles and warm-toned contemporary bathrooms. The cast aluminium body adds durability and heat dissipation, while the opal diffuser conceals the LED strip and spreads the light evenly without visible hotspots. IP44 means the fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and against water splashes from any direction. This makes the Glintis suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the immediate shower enclosure) where splashes and condensation occur but the fitting is not directly exposed to water jets.

Is the Glintis dimmable?
