Description

The Glimmerlux is a 215mm white ceramic table lamp with an embossed chevron pattern covering the cylindrical base, topped with a 150mm diameter fabric drum shade over a PVC frame. The lamp houses a single E14 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) behind the fabric shade, which diffuses light evenly across a bedside table, console or desk surface.

Designed for bedside use, living room side tables and console surfaces, the lamp stands 215mm tall with a 150mm base diameter, making it compact enough for narrower surfaces without the shade dominating the space. The inline switch on the cable allows the lamp to be turned on and off without reaching behind furniture or unplugging at the wall. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The white ceramic base carries an embossed diagonal chevron pattern that catches and reflects lamplight when the fitting is on, adding texture without colour variation. The fabric shade is off-white, matching the ceramic base tone and providing soft ambient light rather than focused task lighting. The combined ceramic base and PVC shade structure give the lamp stability on flat surfaces without needing additional weight.

What bulb does the Glimmerlux take?

The lamp takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulb between 2700K-3000K for bedside or ambient use.

Is the lamp dimmable?

No. The lamp has an inline on/off switch on the cable but no dimming function. If you require dimming, pair an E14 dimmable LED bulb with a plug-in dimmer module between the lamp and wall socket.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the lamp is designed for dry indoor locations only and cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any area subject to moisture or splashing.

How is the ceramic base cleaned?

Wipe the ceramic base with a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. The embossed pattern may collect dust in the recesses, which can be removed with a soft brush. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the base or shade.
