Description

The Glimmera is a three-phase track spotlight with a cylindrical white metal body, adjustable head and a single GU10 socket rated for dimmable bulbs (sold separately). The head pivots on a ball joint inside the cylinder, allowing the beam to be directed across a 180-degree arc from the track line, making it suitable for accent lighting in galleries, retail displays, kitchens and living rooms.

Designed for three-phase track systems, the Glimmera clips onto the track rail and can be repositioned along its length without removing power. The white finish gives a neutral backdrop against white or light-coloured ceilings, allowing the spotlight to recede when not the focal point. The compact 90mm height and 57mm diameter suit low ceilings and spaces where a smaller profile is preferred over larger spotlights.

The metal housing dissipates heat from the GU10 bulb effectively, while the plastic track adapter provides electrical isolation from the mounting rail. The adjustable projection of 80-155mm refers to how far the spotlight can extend from the track depending on the angle of the head when tilted. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments, keeping the fitting away from bathrooms, outdoor canopies and unheated spaces prone to condensation.

What track system does it fit?

The Glimmera is designed for three-phase track systems. It will not fit single-circuit or two-circuit track rails. Check your existing track specification before ordering.

Is the spotlight dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer on the track circuit. The spotlight itself supports dimming but requires both the bulb and the circuit to be dimmer-compatible.

What bulb does it take?

The spotlight takes a standard GU10 bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in 3000K or 4000K depending on whether warm or neutral white light is preferred.

Can it be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The spotlight clips onto the track rail and can be slid along its length and rotated around the rail axis without disconnecting power, allowing the lighting layout to be adjusted as needed.
