The Gleara is a 1490mm LED floor lamp built from alternating blown glass spheres and white elliptical diffusers stacked vertically on a central stem, set on a black metal circular base. The lamp uses a single integrated LED casting 3000K warm white light through a tubular white diffuser, with decorative transparent grey and glossy white blown glass spheres positioned above and below the diffuser. The black metal stem runs through the centre of the stack, holding the elements in a fixed vertical arrangement.

Designed for living rooms, reading corners and bedrooms where vertical decorative lighting is needed without consuming floor space, the Gleara occupies a 280mm diameter footprint. The blown glass spheres create visual interest along the height of the lamp while the central white diffuser provides the functional light output. The transparent PVC cable runs from the base, rated at 2000mm length to reach wall sockets across typical room layouts. IP20 rating limits the lamp to dry indoor environments.

The combination of matt black metal, glossy white blown glass and transparent grey blown glass gives the Gleara a monochrome accent that works in contemporary interiors without adding colour. Each blown glass sphere shows slight variation in wall thickness and bubble distribution depending on the glassblowing process. Is the Gleara dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at a fixed output on standard 230V mains. Connecting the lamp to a dimmer switch will not adjust brightness and may damage the internal driver.

Can the LED be replaced if it fails?

The LED is integrated into the lamp as a sealed unit and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty covers LED failure and structural defects — contact Niori or Ideal Lux if the lamp develops a fault within the warranty period.

What room types suit this lamp?

The IP20 rating restricts the Gleara to dry indoor environments. It works in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and reading corners where decorative vertical lighting is needed. The 280mm footprint suits spaces alongside sofas, armchairs or in room corners without obstructing circulation.

How is the blown glass cleaned?

Wipe the blown glass spheres with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, a slightly damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the lamp or allowing water to run down into the metal stem or base where the LED driver is housed.
