Description

The Glacia ceiling rose is a round black canopy, 45cm across and 36mm deep, made to carry up to five pendants from one place on the ceiling. Five small cable openings are spaced around its face, one for each pendant you hang. What you receive is the rose itself: the pendants and the pendant cables are not included, so it becomes part of a light only once you add them.

A rose of this size is made for a cluster of pendants: over a long dining table, down a stairwell or in a tall hallway, where several lights look better gathered together than scattered across the ceiling. One wide rose in place of five small ones keeps the ceiling tidy, with a single black disc above the group and nothing else to see. At 45cm across, it also gives the pendants room, so they can hang apart from one another without crowding the centre.

The face is flat and plain, and the black finish reads as a clean disc against a white or pale ceiling, so the eye goes to the pendants rather than the hardware. It weighs 2.53KG, which gives it real substance for a part so slim. As a mains product, it is installed by a qualified electrician. Choose your pendants first and settle how many you want in the group, since the rose carries up to five.

Frequently Asked

How many pendants can this ceiling rose take?

It takes up to five pendants, with five small cable openings spaced around its face, one for each pendant in the group.

Are the pendants included with the ceiling rose?

No. You receive the ceiling rose only. The pendants and the pendant cables are not included and are chosen separately.

It is 45cm across and 36mm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling while leaving plenty of width to spread several pendants apart.

What finish does the ceiling rose have?

It has a black finish across its round face, giving a single dark disc above the pendants that stands out clearly against a pale ceiling.

How heavy is this ceiling rose?

It weighs 2.53KG, a good deal of substance for a round canopy that is only 36mm deep and 45cm across.
