The Glacia is a 100mm diameter ceiling canopy in matt white metal, designed to conceal the ceiling rose and cable entry point for single pendant lights. The canopy provides a circular cover that sits flush against the ceiling surface, hiding the electrical box and cable connection behind a solid metal plate.

Used in kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and commercial spaces where a pendant light hangs from a visible ceiling rose, the Glacia replaces the standard plastic cover with a more substantial metal alternative. The 100mm diameter covers most UK single-gang ceiling roses and provides a visually cleaner termination point than exposed wiring or basic plastic covers. The canopy suits any pendant light with a single cable drop, regardless of the pendant's own style or finish.

The white metal finish is a low-sheen matt rather than gloss, so it blends into white ceilings without creating a reflective patch. The metal construction adds weight and rigidity compared to plastic canopies, reducing flex during installation and giving a more permanent feel once fitted. At 100mm diameter the canopy is compact enough to remain visually subordinate to the pendant light itself, while still providing full coverage of the ceiling rose.

Yes. The Glacia is a universal canopy that works with any pendant light using a single cable drop from the ceiling. The pendant cable passes through the central aperture and connects to the ceiling rose behind the canopy.

The canopy is designed for flat ceilings. On sloped ceilings it will sit at an angle, which may create a visible gap on the lower side depending on the slope gradient.
