Description

The Gin is a 220mm pendant light combining a cylindrical gold shade with a black ceiling canopy and cable suspension. A single GU10 downlight fitting sits inside the gold shade, directing light downward through the open base while the metallic interior reflects warm tones back into the room. The shade is formed from rolled metal with a smooth gold finish on the exterior and interior surfaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters where focused task light is needed, the Gin works individually over a small dining table or in a row of three or five above a longer island. The adjustable drop from 215mm to 1500mm allows the pendant to be set between 600-800mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb (sold separately), giving control over brightness and colour temperature.

The gold finish provides warm reflections under both daylight and artificial light, pairing with brass hardware, oak timber and warm-toned stone surfaces in contemporary and mid-century interiors. The black canopy and cable create a visual connection to the ceiling plane and reduce the reflective mass of the fitting when viewed from below. At 1.2kg the pendant has enough weight to hang straight without swaying but remains light enough for standard plasterboard ceiling fixings.
