Description

The Gin is a 500mm table lamp built around a rose gold central column, topped with a 320mm smoked glass cylindrical shade and set on a matt black circular base. The lamp takes a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) positioned inside the smoked glass, which diffuses the light and reduces glare while allowing the bulb to be visible through the tinted glass.

Designed for side tables, console tables, nightstands and desks in living rooms, bedrooms and offices, the Gin works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 500mm height and 320mm shade diameter make it substantial enough to anchor a console or side table without dominating a bedroom nightstand. The rose gold finish on the column provides warm metallic contrast against the black base and smoked glass, pairing well with contemporary and mid-century interiors where mixed metal finishes are already present.

The smoked glass shade is a single-piece cylinder with an open top and bottom, allowing heat from the GU10 bulb to escape naturally. The lamp takes a single GU10 bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W GU10 LED in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient lighting. The smoked glass diffuses the light, so higher-wattage bulbs are not necessary.

Yes, when paired with a dimmable GU10 LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself has no integrated dimmer control, so dimming is controlled at the wall switch or inline dimmer on the cable.
