The Gin is a 500mm table lamp built around a cylindrical smoked glass shade sitting on a gold-finished base with a black stem. A single GU10 fitting inside the glass diffuses light through the tinted cylinder, creating a softer ambient spread rather than a focused task beam. The lamp weighs 5kg, giving it a solid presence on a sideboard or console without needing additional anchoring.

Designed for use on credenzas, nightstands, dining sideboards and console tables in living rooms and bedrooms, the Gin provides background light rather than primary illumination. The smoked glass reduces glare from the exposed GU10 bulb while the 320mm diameter shade gives enough spread to light a 1-2m radius around the lamp base. The gold base reflects warmth from the bulb when lit, adding a subtle glow to the area immediately around the lamp.
