What bulbs does the Gilbert take?

The fitting takes twelve E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED filament bulbs between 4-6W and 2200K-2700K to complement the industrial aesthetic while keeping running costs low.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 25.2cm projection from ceiling to lowest point of the arms requires a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m to avoid head clearance issues. Position the Gilbert above furniture — dining tables, seating areas — rather than in walkways or hallways.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

No. The fixed 25.2cm drop combined with the 123cm span makes this unsuitable for rooms under 2.4m ceiling height or smaller rooms under 5m width. For lower ceilings, consider flush-mount fittings or shorter semi-flush designs.

Can it be dimmed?
