Description

The Geo is a 1650mm floor lamp built around a polished chrome stem and circular base, supporting a round shade with a black outer acrylic ring, white inner diffuser, and cascading strands of cut crystal suspended from the shade's centre. Nine G4 bulbs sit within the shade assembly, lighting the crystal strands from above and causing the faceted pieces to scatter light across the surrounding area.

Designed for living rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms where ambient and decorative lighting is needed, the Geo combines the reflective qualities of polished chrome with the light-scattering properties of cut crystal. The black outer ring of the shade defines the lamp's silhouette and frames the illuminated crystal against the white inner diffuser, while the chrome base and stem act as a reflective column beneath the shade. The lamp stands 1650mm tall with a 300mm-diameter base footprint, giving it a vertical presence without requiring excessive floor space.

The nine G4 bulbs are low-voltage halogen (included), running at a combined 180W maximum load on 220-240V mains via an inline transformer. The lamp ships with inline dimmers built into the cable, allowing brightness to be adjusted without wall dimmer installation. The G4 bulbs are not compatible with LED or CFL replacements due to the transformer specification, so replacement bulbs must be halogen G4 capsules rated up to 20W each.

The polished chrome finish is a high-gloss mirror surface that picks up reflections from surrounding light sources and the crystal strands themselves. The lamp weighs 9.5kg fully assembled, giving it stability on flat floors and short-pile rugs.
