Description

Marble is at the heart of our Gather Square Stone 68cm Dining Table, and we chose it here in a rich Emperador shade, a deep brown stone with the natural veining and movement that only comes from the real material. The top sits at 68cm wide and 68cm deep, a square with generously rounded corners that softens the shape and keeps the edges easy to move around. It rests on a slim central steel column that rises to a square steel foot, giving us a clean line from top to base without bulk getting in the way of chairs or feet.

Built at cafe height, standing 73cm tall, this makes it a comfortable spot for two to sit close over coffee or a light meal. The frame combines a steel tube leg with a steel plate base, so the weight is held low and the whole piece feels planted despite the narrow column. It is made for indoor use, and we think it works just as well tucked into a kitchen corner as it does anchoring a small dining nook or a bay window. Assembly takes around 20 minutes, and everything you need comes in the box.

Because marble is a natural material, the Emperador top will develop a patina over time when it is continuously exposed to air and moisture, so no two tables age in quite the same way. We see that as part of the character rather than something to guard against, though a coaster or two never goes amiss. Pair it with slim seating and a single bloom to let the stone lead, or set a table lamp base nearby in the evening for a softer glow.
