The Garda garden dining armchair sets armrests of iroko wood on a frame of round extruded aluminium tube with a polyester powder coating. Its seat and back are a Vinytex sling, a PVC-coated polyester, and it comes with removable seat and back cushions made in the outdoor fabric you choose. It stands 60cm wide, 63cm deep and 89cm high, with a 47cm seat height that suits a dining table and arms at 64cm.

Set a few around a table on a terrace or patio, in the garden or by the pool, and you have a dining area made for long meals outside. We sell it in five powder-coated frame colours, such as Textured White, Stone and Beige Grey, and eight sling colours, such as White, Grey Beige and Stone Beige. The cushions come in forty-six outdoor fabrics in acrylic, polyolefin and Vinytex, among them Pan White, Wabi Ecru and Pan Bone, so you can match the chairs to your table and planting. Each is made to order in Barcelona, Spain.

The design is by Joan Gaspar. The chair is made for outdoor use and resists weathering and sunlight, and the sling has a UV resistance class of 7/8. It carries the maker's guarantee: five years for domestic use and two for commercial use against manufacturing defects, with cushions, covers and fabrics not covered. Iroko turns silver-grey over time and may change colour or show small cracks with humidity and sudden temperature changes; the maker recommends a sealant twice a year. Clean the aluminium with warm water, neutral soap and a non-abrasive cloth, then rinse and dry it to avoid water marks. The sling and fabrics take a damp sponge and a little neutral soap, and the acrylic fabrics wash at 30°C.
