Description

The Garda coffee table is a low, square outdoor table, 65cm wide, 65cm deep and 35cm high, with softly rounded corners. Its frame is round extruded aluminium tube with a polyester powder coating, and its legs cross in two X shapes joined by a rail at the centre, which keeps the look light and open. At 35cm high it belongs beside a lounge chair or low sofa, keeping a drink, a book or a pot plant within easy reach.

Made for outdoor use and resistant to weathering and sunlight, it is at home on a terrace or patio, by the pool or out in the garden. At 65cm square it fits a small balcony comfortably, or pairs with a single chair in a quiet corner of a larger space. We sell it in eight tops and fifteen powder-coated frame colours, so you can match it to your paving, your planting or the furniture you already own. The top choices include White HPL Compact, Painted Aluminium in the frame's own colour and Iroko; the frame colours include Textured White, Textured Ivory and Stone.

The Garda table is designed by Joan Gaspar and made to order in Barcelona, Spain. Clean the powder-coated aluminium regularly with warm water, neutral soap and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth, then rinse well and dry it to avoid water marks. If you choose the White HPL Compact top, a damp cloth with warm water or a mild detergent is all it needs. If you choose the Iroko top, it will turn silver-grey over time and may show small cracks with humidity and sudden changes of temperature, so the maker recommends a waterproof sealant twice a year. Packed, it weighs 11 to 17kg depending on the top you pick.
