Description

The Garda is a garden dining chair with a slim frame of round extruded aluminium tube, finished in a polyester powder coating, and a seat and back of Vinytex sling, a PVC-coated polyester. Its frame runs in clean, straight lines, with legs that angle out beneath a gently reclined back. It is 57cm wide, 63cm deep and 89cm high, with a seat height of 47cm, the usual height for sitting at a garden dining table. Seat and back cushions are optional and removable.

It belongs at the table on a garden terrace, a patio or beside a pool, ready for a family dinner or a long lunch outside. We sell it in fifteen powder-coated frame colours, among them Textured White, Textured Ivory and Stone, with the sling in two colours, White or Anthracite. For the cushions there are forty-six outdoor fabrics in acrylic, polyolefin and Vinytex, such as Pan White and Wabi Ecru, or you can choose Without Cushions for the frame and sling alone.

Every Garda chair is made to order in Barcelona, Spain, to a design by Joan Gaspar. It is made for outdoor use and resistant to weathering and sunlight, and the sling is rated UV resistance class 7/8. The cushions are filled with 100% polyether fibre and foam. The maker's guarantee covers manufacturing defects for five years in domestic use and two years in commercial use; cushions, covers and fabrics are not covered. Wash the frame with warm water, neutral soap and a non-abrasive cloth, then rinse and dry it to avoid water marks. Clean the sling and fabrics with a damp sponge and a little neutral soap, never harsh chemicals; the acrylic fabrics wash at 30°C.
