Description

The Gannan is an artificial leaf spray: several slender brown stems gathered together, each lined along its length with small, rounded beige leaves. The leaves have a soft, sandy colour and a gently textured surface, and the stems finish in fine looped tips, so the whole spray reads as naturally dried foliage rather than a fresh green plant. It stands 50cm tall and measures 15cm across at its widest, and at 0.02KG it adds almost nothing to the weight of a vase.

We see it most at home on a living room shelf, a sideboard, a mantelpiece or a hallway console, anywhere a little foliage softens a run of books, frames and ornaments. The beige and brown palette sits comfortably with natural wood, white walls, linen and stoneware, and it suits a calm, neutral scheme where bright green would feel out of place.
