Galaxia 9 Light Square Cement Cluster Pendant - Multicoloured

The Galaxia is a 9 light cluster pendant with individual square cement shades in grey, white and red, suspended at staggered heights from a 600mm round white metal canopy. Each shade houses an E27 lampholder, allowing you to choose bulb type, wattage and colour temperature independently. The cement shades are cast with a matt textured finish and slight surface variation inherent to the material.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and double-height entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Galaxia provides both ambient and task lighting depending on bulb choice. The nine pendants are pre-wired to different drop lengths from 210mm to 3210mm, creating a cascading arrangement that fills vertical space. The 600mm canopy covers most standard UK ceiling roses and provides cable entry points for all nine drops.

The cement construction gives each shade a solid 10.2kg combined weight and a tactile industrial character that pairs well with exposed brick, concrete floors, reclaimed wood and mid-century furniture. The white canopy provides a neutral ceiling mount that works across colour schemes, while the grey, white and red shade mix adds tonal interest without strong colour saturation. The matt cement surface softens light output and reduces glare compared to metal or glass shades.

What bulbs does the Galaxia take?

Nine E27 (Edison screw) bulbs are needed, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining light, or higher-output bulbs up to 60W per fitting for kitchen task lighting.

Can the drop lengths be adjusted?

The nine pendants are pre-wired to staggered lengths from 210mm to 3210mm. Individual cables can be shortened during installation by a qualified electrician, but cannot be lengthened beyond the factory-set maximum without re-wiring.

Is the Galaxia dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. Pair with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible LED dimmer switch to achieve dimming functionality. The fitting itself supports dimming when suitable lamps and controls are fitted.

What ceiling height is needed?

The cascading arrangement works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In lower-ceiling spaces the longest drops may need to be shortened to maintain clearance over dining tables or kitchen islands.
