The Galaxia is a 9-light cluster pendant built around a 600mm circular white canopy suspending nine cement globes in varying tones of grey, white and soft red. Each globe hangs on an independently adjustable cable, allowing the cluster to be configured with drops ranging from 210mm to 3210mm depending on ceiling height and the desired visual density. The cement shades are cast rather than machined, so each retains the textural surface and subtle tonal variation inherent to the material.

Designed for dining areas, double-height entrance halls and stairwells where the cluster can be suspended over a table or through a void, the Galaxia pairs ambient and decorative function. The nine E27 sockets accept standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and brightness. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen and the dimmer type. Pair with dimmable LED bulbs rated for trailing-edge dimmers for best results.

The cement shades are left unsealed, retaining the matte porosity and slight surface irregularities of raw cast concrete. The multicoloured palette, soft terracotta red, pale grey, off-white. Gives tonal warmth without bright colour saturation, so the fixture pairs comfortably with both neutral and coloured interiors. At 11.8kg the canopy and cable assembly require secure ceiling fixings, typically a joist or reinforced ceiling rose rated for the full weight.

The Galaxia is part of the Spanish lighting collection and ships with all nine cables, canopy hardware and fitting instructions. The 100-240V input voltage allows worldwide use, though UK installation requires standard 230V mains wiring to a switched ceiling rose or junction box.

Each of the nine pendants takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-8W and 2700K-3000K to complement the cement tones.

Can the drop heights be adjusted?

Yes. Each of the nine cables is independently adjustable between 210mm and 3210mm, allowing the cluster to be configured for different ceiling heights or arranged in a staggered cascade effect over a dining table or stairwell void.

Is the Galaxia dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. Pair with dimmable LED bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer rated for LED loads for smooth dimming without flicker. The fixture itself contains no electronics that would prevent dimming.

What ceiling fixing is needed for the 11.8kg weight?

The canopy must be fixed into a ceiling joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated for at least 12kg. Plasterboard fixings alone are not sufficient. If your ceiling does not have a joist at the desired position, install a spreader plate across multiple joists before fitting the canopy.
