Galaxia 15 Light Square Cement Cluster Pendant - Multicoloured

The Galaxia is a 15-light cluster pendant built around hand-finished cement cubes in grey, white and terracotta red, each housing an E27 bulb fitting. The cubes hang from a 900mm square white steel canopy on individual cables set at staggered heights, creating a cascading arrangement of cement and light across a 900mm vertical drop at its widest setting.

Designed for high-ceiling dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and open-plan kitchen-dining zones, the Galaxia works best in spaces with ceiling heights of 3m or above where the full vertical spread of the cluster can be appreciated. Each of the 15 cables is height-adjustable on installation between 210mm and 3210mm, allowing the cluster to be configured tighter or more spread depending on the room proportions. The 19.4kg total weight requires secure ceiling joist fixing or a ceiling plate rated for the load.

Each cement cube is hand-cast and hand-finished, so surface texture, minor colour variation and small air bubbles are intrinsic to the material rather than defects. The terracotta, grey and white tones are distributed randomly across the 15 cubes, giving each Galaxia a slightly different composition when hung. The cement absorbs and diffuses light in a way that smooths the hard edges of the cubes when the bulbs are on, softening the industrial material into something warmer. The fitting accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to the maximum wattage per socket (see Specification), sold separately.

The Galaxia is dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Most users pair the pendant with 4-6W LED filament bulbs at 2200K-2700K to keep the overall wattage manageable while creating warm ambient light across the cluster.

What bulbs does the Galaxia take?

Each of the 15 pendants takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit 4-6W LED filament bulbs at 2200K-2700K to keep total wattage around 60-90W across the cluster while achieving warm ambient light.

Can the drop heights be adjusted after installation?

The cable lengths are adjusted during installation by feeding cable through the canopy ceiling plate. Once the canopy is fitted and the cables are set, adjusting them requires partial disassembly of the canopy. Plan the desired configuration before final fitting.

Is the Galaxia dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. The cement cubes themselves do not affect dimmer performance — compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs and dimmer you choose.

Do the cement cubes vary between fittings?

Yes. Each cube is hand-cast and hand-finished, so surface texture, small air pockets and minor tonal variation differ between individual cubes. The distribution of grey, white and terracotta cubes across the 15 pendants is also random, so no two Galaxia fittings look identical when hung.
