Description

The Fusion is a 343mm semi-flush ceiling light built around three horizontal bands of painted natural brass that frame a ribbed opal glass drum. A flat opal glass diffuser sits beneath the drum, distributing light evenly downward and outward from three E27 bulbs (sold separately, 40W max each). The 229mm drop from ceiling to base suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.6m where a full pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, and living rooms where ambient ceiling light is needed without the vertical projection of a pendant, the Fusion sits close to the ceiling while maintaining enough presence to anchor a 3m x 4m room. The ribbed opal glass softens direct glare from the bulbs and casts warm diffused light across walls and ceilings. The brass framework references Arts & Crafts metalwork but pairs comfortably with mid-century, transitional, and contemporary interiors.

The painted natural brass finish has a low-sheen satin surface that sits between polished brass and antique brass in tone — warmer than brushed brass but without the high shine of polished. The ribbed texture on the glass drum runs vertically, adding subtle pattern when viewed from the side. The three E27 sockets allow flexibility in bulb choice — warm-white LED for ambient light, vintage filament bulbs for visible glow, or standard halogen depending on the required output.

What bulbs does it take?

The Fusion uses three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient room lighting, or vintage filament bulbs where visible glow is wanted.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 229mm drop from ceiling to base makes the Fusion suitable for ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.6m. Below 2.2m the fitting may feel too low; above 2.6m a pendant with more vertical projection might anchor the space better.

Is the glass removable for bulb changes?

Yes. The opal glass drum and base diffuser can be removed for bulb access. The glass components are held by the brass framework and lift away once the fixings are loosened.

Can it be used on a dimmer?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. Dimmable LED bulbs paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch will allow full dimming. Standard non-dimmable bulbs or incompatible dimmers may cause flickering.
