Description

The Feiss Fusion is a 533mm diameter drum pendant chandelier combining a painted natural brass frame with amber ribbed glass side panels and an opal glass base diffuser. Three E27 bulbs inside the drum (sold separately) illuminate the ribbed glass and diffuse through the base plate, casting warm ambient light suitable for dining tables, hallways and living room focal points. The frame uses horizontal and vertical banding in an Arts & Crafts-influenced geometry, with four outer bars supporting the circular top and bottom rings.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 4m, the chandelier ships with five 305mm rods and one 152mm rod, allowing the drop to be adjusted between 381mm and 1753mm during installation. A typical dining table installation places the chandelier 700-800mm above the table surface, which works with 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights when using the shorter rod configuration. The 533mm diameter suits tables between 1.4m and 2m long without overwhelming smaller rooms.

The painted natural brass finish presents as a mid-tone warm gold with a low-sheen surface that softens reflections under daylight. The ribbed amber glass around the sides diffuses light outward while maintaining visibility of the bulbs inside, so filament-style LED bulbs show their structure when lit. The opal glass base diffuser prevents glare from below and balances the directional light from the side panels. The combined glass and brass frame weighs approximately 4kg once assembled, requiring a ceiling rose rated for pendant loads.

The chandelier takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use warm-white LED bulbs between 4-8W and 2700K for dining areas. Filament-style LED bulbs work well because the ribbed glass allows the bulb structure to remain visible when lit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop between 381mm and 1753mm makes the chandelier suitable for ceiling heights from 2.4m to over 4m. For a dining table, the fitting typically hangs 700-800mm above the table surface, so a 2.4m ceiling allows comfortable clearance when using the shorter rod configuration.

Can the drop be adjusted after installation?

Yes, but it requires partial disassembly. The chandelier ships with five 305mm rods and one 152mm rod. During installation you choose how many rods to use based on your ceiling height. Changing the drop later means lowering the chandelier, disconnecting the wiring, adding or removing rods, and re-wiring.

What table size does the 533mm diameter suit?

A 533mm pendant works over dining tables between 1.4m and 2m long. For longer tables (2.2m+), two Fusion chandeliers spaced 1-1.2m apart provide more balanced light distribution than a single central pendant.
