Description

The Funk is a 52cm table lamp built around a tall conical metal shade in matt black, set on a slim black stem with a brushed brass pivot joint and a weighted circular base. The shade interior is finished in a beaten gold texture that catches and warms the light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately), throwing a softer amber tone onto the surface below than the matt black exterior would suggest.

Designed as a desk and bedside lamp, the Funk works on writing desks, home office worktops, console tables and bedside cabinets. The shade pivots on the brass joint at the top of the stem, allowing the cone to be tilted forward over a book, laptop or keyboard for direct task light, or angled upwards to wash a wall. An inline switch sits on the base for easy reach without fumbling for a cord.

The 28cm shade diameter and 52cm overall height place the Funk in the compact desk-lamp bracket rather than the larger living-room table lamp range, so it suits worktops from around 60cm depth upwards without crowding the surface. Can the head be adjusted?
