The Frinarne is a slim, rectangular LED panel light in white that sits flat against the ceiling, 120cm long, 30cm wide and 5cm high. The body is aluminium and steel, and the whole face is a white plastic diffuser, so the light comes as one broad, even glow rather than a bright point that catches your eye. The LEDs are integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 33W and gives 4,700 lumens at 4000K, a clear neutral white that suits cooking, reading and close work. Its IP20 rating settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Being long and narrow, it lines up neatly over a kitchen worktop, an island, a desk or a run of shelving, and one fitting puts a generous amount of light into a room.
