Description

The Frenette table lamp is a compact black steel light with a rounded wire mesh cage that wraps around the bulb and sits on a solid cylindrical base. It stands 28.5cm tall, the shade is 15cm across and the base is 10cm across, so it fits a narrow shelf or a bedside table without crowding it. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 60W. The bulb is not included, which leaves the choice of glow to you. Rated IP20, it is made for indoor rooms that stay dry, so keep it away from bathrooms, damp corners and anywhere outdoors.

Because the mesh is open, the bulb becomes part of the design, and an E27 filament bulb with a warm tint shows the cage off especially well. We like it on a bedside table, a desk, a hall console or a bookshelf, and its modest height means it sits comfortably where a taller lamp would crowd the space. In a living room or bedroom it gives a gentle glow for reading corners and quiet evenings, while the black finish works with dark woods, white shelving and industrial styling alike.

The frame and base are steel finished in black, with a fine diamond lattice of wire forming the shade and a neat open ring at the top. A switch sits on the cord, so you control the lamp without reaching behind furniture, and it runs from 220-240V mains at 50/60Hz. The packed weight is 0.652KG.
