Description

The Fragment is a 977mm table lamp built around a columnar base of hand-painted resin and metal castings finished in aged gold, topped with a textured gold drum shade. The base consists of four decorative elements stacked vertically — two ornate cross-shaped castings, a central spherical element with relief detailing, and a crown finial at the top — all on a rectangular plinth with claw feet.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in sitting rooms or bedrooms, the Fragment provides ambient light filtered through the gold-toned drum shade. The 216mm square footprint suits standard-depth furniture without overhang, and the 977mm total height positions the light source at a typical reading height when placed on a 600-700mm table. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately).

The aged gold finish on the base gives a warmer, less reflective tone than polished brass or bright gold, with darker patina in the recesses of the cast detail that suggests antiqued metalwork.
