Description

The Fragma Right is a single-bulb wall light built around a polished chrome ribbon frame that curves from a 125mm circular backplate to hold a frosted and clear glass globe at the end of a flowing arm. The ribbon sweeps in a right-hand arc, terminating 140mm from the wall. An integrated on/off switch sits on the backplate, allowing the light to be operated without a separate wall switch.

Designed for bedside positions, reading corners and hallway accent lighting, the Fragma Right works where directed task light is needed close to a wall. The frosted glass globe diffuses the G9 bulb (sold separately) to reduce glare, while the clear outer layer adds a faceted texture that catches ambient light when the fitting is switched off. The 240mm vertical height suits installation at 1.2-1.5m from floor level, typical for bedside reading or corridor lighting.

The polished chrome finish provides a high-reflectivity surface that mirrors surrounding colours and light sources, making the fitting recede visually in bright rooms and stand out in darker settings. The ribbon frame is asymmetrical by design. A matching left-hand version is available for symmetrical installations either side of a bed headboard, mirror or doorway. The single G9 fitting is dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and compatible dimmer circuit.

The Fragma Right takes a single G9 capsule bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W LED G9 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for bedside or reading light. The fitting supports bulbs up to the wattage limit stated on the backplate label.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. The integrated on/off switch on the backplate operates independently of dimming. Dimming must be controlled via the wall circuit.

Can it be paired with a left-hand version?

Yes. A matching Fragma Left wall light is available with the ribbon curving in the opposite direction, allowing symmetrical installation either side of a headboard, mirror or doorway. Search for the left-hand model at Niori.

What height should it be installed at?

For bedside use, 1.2-1.4m from floor level typically aligns the light with seated reading height. For corridor accent lighting, 1.4-1.6m works well. The integrated switch should be positioned within easy reach of the user.
